Is that Luv ?

I sit here thinking about you
And all the things you do
I wonder do you think of me too
I wonder what you think and if you care
Yet so new don't want to rush

Do you want to go back
If you could would you
Here and now
As I stand before you
Will I push you away too
Only time will tell it
is it love or will it fail ?

Out of Choice or Divine ?

Are we ready to see Gay-ism on the screen ? Are we ready to accept homosexualism in India ? Quite a few of movies have depicted the characters on silver screen more recently Fashion and Dostana (they pretend, not are in reals). Movies are fine, but they aint reality. How about the real lyf ? How would we react on seeing 2 lesbians or 2 gays ? Modernists might leave them unattended as they believe in “To each its own”.

Traditionalists would fume. They would cry over split moralities and fading values. In short over react. Feminists would advocate in favor of homosexuality (lesbians to be precise). MCPs would cringe and they would favor too.

Is it possible in India with closed society to accept homosexuality ? It may be possible in open liberal minded metros like Delhi, Bangalore or Mumbai homosexuals might get some liberty and flaunt their relationships. Imagine their plight in the small towns of Tier II cities like Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad or Pune ? In this cities homosexuality isn’t going to get support. And the reaction of the onlookers would be pathetic and some stern comments would sure be hurled in public to the people.

Now the other question that comes to my mind is that is homo being out of choice or divine ? Divine in the sense that has GOD made them this way ? I cringe on this thought when somebody says GOD made them this way. How come GOD comes into picture here. Does it ? Humans are born out of biological process (I hated Biology in class IX) and there is nothing GOD could do in here. When these people grow, the influences they come under, the people they touch base and situations. I feel homosexuality is all about personal choice. Seeing whom a person gets attracted (A man or woman) or what makes a person ka dil go dhak dhak and ga gaa over the other person. ‘Normal’ people would get attracted to opposite sex. But then again it’s a clichéd classification. Normal or abnormal. Its all relative and very subjective.

To sum up, being homosexual or straight is out of choice and it gotta be respected. Cos the persons involved take this decision out of conscious thinking and ready to accept consequences.

Customer care, BP and Appraisals......Blog-o-mania

Its about mass exodus from the blog supposed to be rocking. Its about not being able to visit the blog for a good whole day and even more due to a ridiculous network outage and even more outrageous statements from the customer care officials of Reliance Broadband, my ISP. Abuses, arguments and sarcasms – this 3 words sum up the interaction with this rowdy people. I wished if they could provide me a logical timeline to as when the network would be up and I wud be able to be connect back. Being on net is my USP and is my life. I cannot imagine my life without internet and more so BLOGS. I admit that I rarely have a life outside NET. When I go home, I stay away from it or I should say I try to stay away from it. Else I don’t.

Staying on own is something which I do and I have an active eLife or say eSocialLife. Is that a new term that I coined ? Should I get it patented ? May be I should.

Talking with customer care in India is a hair raising experience. At the end of it you don’t get positive vibes, but a high BP. That’s precisely I m feeling right now. I have followed this problem aggressively and would do so. I feel I m not well. I have huge headache and back pain. Dunno wat it is. But yesterday night the stress reached its max levels. On a day like yesterday when I got a good appraisal, I was so happy when in the office. And then today, my sister s dubbay.

Customer care centers i.e BPOs are thugs. May be it’s a blanket statement to make, but then the experience has been worse to bad in every case. All they are interested in is to close the calls without bothering about the quality of the resolution they provide. I literally abused the person talking to me last nite. So imagine how rude they cud be. Me being rude ? Yes may be. But to start with, I am very polite like everybody is in office or those mails using this slangs :

“Could you………”

“Can you please………….”

“Please suggest…………….”

“I would be happy to have the resolution……………”

And stuff like that. But this people don’t deserve that. They gotta get a thrashing. Back on their S.

Many people left the blog yesterday….May be they had their own reasons to do so. Am fine with it. I wish I could do something to set the things right in correct perspective, but damn this net was down the last nite and it is now as well. Blogs are a wonderful media to express yourself and to connect to people. I am happy that I have found some real gems on the bloggerville, which otherwise it was impossible to find. Wish we could stay connected for good despite being away physically or geographically. I say this for every reader of mine, new or old (who read it sincerely and not with malice.)

I got another rude shock this morning. I am doing appraisals for one of my older team member of previous project. She is a girl and a bit ridiculous. She had issues with the project and didn’t want to work in here. She was carrying too and so had to skip offices for her med checkups. Fine, no issues with that. But in her appraisal comments for her task she added that PA was very rude and didn’t help in anything and she did everything on her own.

I was shocked on to read this. Not bcos she called me rude or stuff. But how opinionate she could be. She was not keen to work, she had issues with the technologies in the project, she had attitude trouble. She puts it on me. ? Ahhhhhhh. It pinches. When I was a lead in the previous project, I tried to make sure everybody was happy and also I try to save my S…So I was a bit manipulative. But no way I meant to belittle somebody or anybody. Subah se dimag ka dahi ho chukka he aur ab tak to us dahi ka mattha (butter milk) ban chukka hoga.

As expected, I gave nasty and very straight forward comments for her appraisal. I cant keep everybody happy. I am a bit possessive. When it comes to my team or my girl (???) I am possessive. I go to back them to any extent. I did that for my team for 4 months at helm. But this girl had her own agenda. She had her own things to pursue. And now for her failings she blames me. You gotta suffer baby. Better not mess with me.

Super pissed today. Got to put a cap on this. This age I cannot afford more stress after having taken aplenty in last 3 years and half. Gotta go now and get myself checked with the doc. May be BP and headache too….Sorry guys for the super boring post. Not able to go to blogs and comment, but for sure would do soon asap net back home goes up.

Have a good day and happy watching Gays……………

Delhi Ki Thandi, Manhood, Citibank ka Jalwa and Dostana...........

Have you ever heard or read a tag line somewhere

“CELEBRATING MANHOOD”

I have not…..May be I don’t read those hep magazines which might be ranting about this topic. I am not even sure if there is a magazine for men on the likes of FEMINA. I may be ignorant here J

Dostana releases this weekend and I am sure this must be a big hit. May be there is John in it, so or may be there is AB in it, so or may be there is another hottie PC out here so. May be the story line (of supposed gay-ism) is here so may be. Songs are good and I m fan for them. Karan Johar di movie ha and its set in the beach capital of the world – Miami in Florida. Rab Ne bana di Jodi nu songs to vadde change hai. M hooked to them to max and now I am even planning to have them as my ringtone(s). Fashion surprisingly too has good songs. My itouch is playing songs from this 2 movies since yesterday morning.

Yesterday evening I was in a trance. Furred up with work loads in the office and in general sulking, I had planned to be on a break from this blog, but this morning I am back to being nasty and I m being cracking jokes, though nobody is laughing on them except me. I spoke to Citibank customer care (? ?? ???) executive…I wanted to xfer Rs 89.73 to my other bank account cos I want to close down this account. I paid up my credit card bill and then wished to xfer remaining amount to my other bank. The poor fellow didn’t understand my accented English, then I came down to out and out Hindi. I have habit to bug this customer care officials and the responses they give are ridiculous to the core, so why fret over them. Give them their own dose.

Now this dude spoke

CC : “Sir, speak a bit louder”.

I : “ Cant speak more louder than this, else building neeche aa jayega” (I am conscious on phone when I m in office, so I speak quite low toned).

………………

CC: “Kitna amount xfer kar rahe he aap”

I : “89 Rupees and 73 (trihottar) paise………….O ji wo xfer nahi ho rahe he, mujhe error message aa riya hega ki Withdrawn amount is greater than amount available”

CC: “Sir, maine aapka system check kiya, koi problem nahi he. AAp pura amount withdraw kar sakte he”

I: “Malik nahi ho raha he. AAp apna email id do, screenshot bhejta hun.” (Being an IT pro, we speak in this lingo)

CC: “Sir maine confirm kiya he”

I: “Aap ek kaam karo, me aapke account me xfer kar deta hu, fir aapse 90 Rs le lunga ya fir aap mijhe 90 Rs ki treat de dena”

Pissed off with this conversation, he asked me to speak to his supervisor and the call never happened cos I had to go to breakfast and waiting time was infinite. Later, I found that the CITIBANK wanted to cut some service tax too. I then transferred 50, 10, 5 Rs to my other bank. Lost Rs 15 for service tax. Chindhi chor. Not me, but BANK.

I wont be watching NDTV tonite. Karan Johar would be coming and talking crap about Dostana. Well he has that air about himself which suggests that he might be one Gay and happy guy (Gay as in jovial) :P. I was happy in the morning ki chaloji ab thande pani se nahana nahi padega and I wont need to sing “Thande thande pani se nahana chahiye”…..That was shortlived. Lights went off at 630 AM. This state is absolute jerk. City of Pune sees 6 hour power cuts and city like Indore sees a hour power cut. So which is better ? Anyway Indore is 1000000 times better than Pune….anny day…………Oh my god, is anybody a MNS fan here ? Else I am being vindicated now ……….I had that anticipation. I had woken up at 525 AM and put on the geyser, so thoda kunkuna (Warm) pani tha and that was better than cold water. Anyway I can still afford to have cold whater bath here cos its not cold here. 12 degrees and people are out with full winter gear.

Sadde Indore me the temperature is 7 degrees. Now that’s some cold. But winter ka maja kahi he India me , to wo Delhi me hainji. I had been to delhi just once 6 yrs back to Timarpur for DRDO interview. Boy kya gulabi thand thi. Delhi di kudiya and thand. Wow. CP, Parliament street and other parts rocked……Wow man. Thand ho to Dilli jaisi ho, warna na ho.

Alright, this is dragging on needlessly. I gotta go for a meeting with a PA (Programmer Analyst) for some work related stuff…..

And I hope there is peace at the ‘Rocksters Lounge’ after a fight last nite. Let this rock in music and fun rather than fights or silly misunderstandings. That way we might scare away the readers…..Let fun factor remain……….

'Tujhme Rab Dikhta He'

I m edgy now. On the edge , on the fringes. An unhappy state of mind to be in. Reasons unknown. Since Sunday I have posted 7 posts and deleted all. Not good omens for new ‘visitors’. Seasoned visitors are used to my topsy turvy. Cant help it folks. That’s how it is. Pressure on me ? Not really. A bad phase , I can say in terms of blogging. Trying to set up ‘Arm Ball’ – my cricket blog, but unable to find a good template. Want to make it 3 col so that I add up few more memoirs and memorabilia on it. But 4 hours last evening and 4 on Sunday , futile. Zilch. Screwed up my blog and then was pissed off. Nothing new.

I think of taking a break from this blog for 3-4 days. Would reduce the frequency of daily posts to say 1 in 2 or 3 days for time being. Quitting was also an option, but then I m not a quitter. Bored of relationship thoughts, talks and posts. Want to have a break of this.

Heard the songs of latest Adi Chopra flick “Rab ne bana di Jodi”….Songs didn’t appeal first time, but when I heard the title song “Tujhme rab dikhta he”, then it sunk in slowly. That’s a classic love song. Classic tribute to how love should be for me. See “Rab” in her. That’s my idea of love. Always has been and always would be. But some offset is necessary and it is. I would love if I get such a partner when I could sing to her “ Tujhe dekha to yeh jana sanam ki hum ko humi se chura lo “ And “Tujhme rab dikhta he yara me kai karu”…
