Beginning of something wonderful

Edited to Add : I just joined the writers lounge thanks to the ever effervescent Pink Orchid. The entry is right here. Please read and let me know how it sounds.

You meet her, you think about her, you dream about her, you gaze her, you read her, you imagine her with you, you give her ten nick names, you stutter when she comes online, you ask her for a coffee, you gasp for breath when you see her walking to you, you are nervous when you kick start the conversation, you are amazed to see how well you connect, you just go on and on, you then hold her hands, you then walk together the road or on a isle or a ramp and then for life, the feeling grows stronger, then you ask her for talking on cell for hours in the night, she happily reciprocates, your eyes remain wide open with amusement, you keep wondering is she for you?

you keep thinking about her, you then propose to her by asking "will you be my lady love for good and be the fairie of my life?", she responds "yes silly, why didnt you ask it before". You fall in love, you grow in love, you evolve and you grow stronger and fatter.....

Is that the normal course of a relationship? If so then i am at the beginning of something wonderful :)

Is Blogger gender centric ?

Is blogger gender biased? I mean does a lady blogger get more visits than say a man blogger ? I hate to draw a conclusion here. More so depends on the quality of the blog and the networking skills of the blogger (be it lady or man), but still somewhere does gender comes into play? Not just visits, but comments also. I am not being a chauvinistic pig out here neither I am playing down the existence of feminism here, so please no commenting on that stuff or war on that front. Just a thought that crossed my mind, so putting it here for a discussion.

When I read a new blog, it doesnt matter to me if the blogger is a male or a female. I just look if the content appeals to me or not. And if it does irrespective of the gender, I go and connect myself. I am not sure how many others do the same. My genre of writing is basically fun oriented or relationships or ranting out of my daily life experiences. At times events like e11/26 or stuff like that appeal me too.

Do you feel a gender plays a role in getting more comments on a blog? What is that you think is the factor that gets more comments? I dont believe on hopping 100 blogs, not reading the stuff and saying "Nice blog, please do visit mine". I hop a 30 odd blogs and read them either in google reader when busy and then drop on blog and comment. Else go the blog n comment.

Let me know your thoughts.

Chalo Bloggers ko Ladaye..

This age wars are not limited to battlefields or ballot fields. One more field exists for the wars and I would call them Blog Wars. War between 2 bloggers. Blog Yuddh in pure terms.

I have been at receiving end of few blog wars. One of them at FireWhisky's blog last year when i was Uber scared of blogging. I dropped in to one of the very famed blog hosted by a doctor from Dubai. Doctor jinhe India me bhagwan ka darja haasil hain. Koi to comment kiya and she was furious. A long advice to poor FireWhisky followed on how to be beware of me. Hahahaha.

and then one of my reader is in fights with one of the ex-readers. Reason nahi pata but something is brewing on. Blog fights. How does blog fight happen:

Blogger A speaks or disagrees with Blogger B. A or B can be male / female. I mean 3 combos male vs male (very rare), female vs female( ...........) and female vs male (very likely).

And then disagreement follows. Promptly a hate post on other one comes up with one version. And then the news spreads like wild fire. Her / his friends support A. They write comments on A's post citing how good she / he is n how fake B is. (IPL fake player blogger also appears she to those somebody. LOL)

Poor B doesnt even sense the danger. He / she must be waiting for A to come online or talk thru email. But B never knows that ties have been snapped. A has removed itself from readership, followership and comment ship. B shocks. Jya hua. Kyu jhagda kiya ? Hum kitne asse dost the !! Wapas aa jao.

A will say "fuck off". Victimised B will now feel the anger. Either it will now come up with equal or more intense post in reply or will play victim and cry foul. Write on the blog that it spent years crying on what happened.

In the meantime A will have informed its set of fast friends (L and D) to write few more hate posts on B and ensure B runs away. A will ensure everything to ensure B is trampled. Reference of GOD, reference of friends, reference of morality and ethics would be given.

L and D will write similar posts trempling B. Not that it is finished. A and its set of friends L and D come up with similar posts on Orkut, Facebook and Myspace declaring B fake and cheat and illegal. The onlookers enjoy the game sympathizing with both A and B.

Uff my god. Good Lord. Itna Vella time logo ke paas. This guys not only make the life of opponent tough but also go all ends up giving torrid times to other friends too by jingoism like "if you aint his enemy then you aint my friend". "Fight with him else i write hate post for you too". "If you dont abide by me then i would get out a supari for you".

Bhaiya blog padhna he to padho varna na padho. Kisne danbook kan pe rakh ke kaha hai ki nahi blog padhna padega. Free speech hai bhai. Free read bhi hai. Comments ke naam pe, kabhi DOG kahne ke naam pe, kabhi kisi aur ke kahne par blog wars hote hain. Are bhaiya hum koi kisi grah (planet) se nahi aaye hai, yahi se hain..Fir kaisa bair ?

All in all be careful of such bloggers whose aim is to just get their views gain dominance and prominance. And for that they would do anything. Ask XX, YY, ZZ. They would concur.

Mere dimag me ek khayal hain. Kyu na ek post rakha jaye jaha aap aise kisi blogger ka naam expose kare jisne aapse jhagda kiya hai aur dimag ka dahi kiya hai. Kya khayal che aapno ?

Anniversary 2 on blogs.

Yesterday was a milestone day. Milestone for my life beyond obvious. I finished 2 years on the bloggerville. Eventful, intense times. Tough times. Being stalked and tracked. From Superunknown to Sup to Buzz to Sam. Journey that enlightened me with the rules of the blog, taught me a few lessons or 2 and had to pacify the stakeholders of my life with the reasonings for posts that appeared on my erstwhile blogs. When i wrote sadist stuff to crazy stuff to poems to a love story sequels with no end to my rants on some crazy insane stuff and situations in my paro ka jet (project). All were read with intensity, some agreed, some disagreed. Few comments to being swamped one. Yet i feel i dont get the number i deserve. But then i dont pester people n write hate posts for those who dont comment on my stuff.

Million dollar Auschdrike to Coherent Moments of Reckoning to Stellar Moments to Bridges to Cross and then a 1 and half year break when my ex stalked me on the trot day in and day out. As a result I had to delete my blog. Continue with my cricket blog and then that was stalked too. My ex from Glasgow. She stalked my blog. She was insecure. yes i wrote my heart out then. I was devastated then. I wasnt beliveing that my relationship had ended. I did everything to keep her at bay. Changed blog url, name of blog, profile of the blog, she was there always.

And then a break of a almost half a year. One more attempt to blog in April 08 but an unnecessary controversy by another blogger named "Sam" with a y went bust.. And then i began other blog keeping all other irritants and disgusting people at bay. Blurred Lines followed with a change of name to Azadi dil ki. It got stagnated and in came Razmatazz Lounge, the current one.

Lot of readers have stayed with me till date in innings 1 and innings 2. Innings 1 had following people who pepped me up in my tougher times:

Firewhisky, Nuts, Rajeev, Sam (Sumit), D, Raka and Annie.

Second innings : you all guys.

Regrets:

Commenting on Dubai and Russian bloggers(Strong friend duo). Biggest mistake of my blogger time.

Losing a few readers who were good friends for unknown reasons.

This are transitioning times. Few patterns change, few ideas evolve. And so does this blog. 105 posts. And counting.
