Its always tough to marry a person in just couple of meetings or few chats here and there. Few dates or few movie and get outs. Whoooof, most horrible way to decide the partner for the rest of life and a recipe for screwing the life. True right.
So if you still stick with the arranged marriage stuff to go with, then why not "LIVE-IN " for a month or so to judge how the person is ? I am a strong believer of this theory now. If it works fine, take it to the next level, if not then thanks very much, thats it. Thats it kahne ki azadi to hamesha honi chahiye.
Have your terms and conditions, go for it. Decide the blueprint how you d like to live the life post marriage. Live that life for 2 weeks or 4 weeks whatever is the duration you want to "LiVE-IN". And then decide if the guy is worth enough to tag along for the life or the girl is right enough to go well for the bachi hui zindagi

p.s- the stupid law makers also seem to be doing something to legalise it...cheers :D
Hey mads, politicians wud never know what live in is...........
and liveins are good means to reduce unhappy shadis
naah am serious...they are doin something abt legalising it...

I am not the right person to comment on this :)
Hey Harshi, u still online :>
I can just agree to u...no disagreements...
so r u gonna enter one liv-in relationship...??
BAD joke..
So everybody's supporting u here...i will go the other way round ;-)
So, you are saying that we spend some months or so before committing and moving on to the next level...now what exactly is this next level...till we fall in love with the other person head ovr heels and ignore his/her 'flaws'.
Also a sense of responsibility comes with marriage and in live-in relationship since neither person is committed he/she will react differently than say the situation post marriage.
the 'blue print' about supposed living post marriage is also not clear. Don't we have to be spontaneous and act naturally rather than in a planned manner so that the other person can see the real us.
looking forward to ur views on these...
Pj, whats a bad in it ? did i say i m movin to a live-in ? its just a bloody post.....
clarify pls whats bad in it and whats a joke in it ?
Interesting after thoughts Abhishek out here....
Responsibilities dont come in many of a marriages too, the crux of the idea here is to know a person before u go n marry a person....
the next level here implies that deciding to marry or not after u fall in luv with a person..
post marriage everybody takes each other for granted and b4 marriage everybody wants to work out the relationship......
I asked u in a funny way tat r u gonna move into one liv in but then i felt it was weird to ask like that tats y I just put ma stupid joke as bad one..
watever PJ
