Hum Tum

Watching the scene of Hum Tum when Saif rues loss of Rani always reminds me of my initial days in Pune. Those were strange days. Young, exciting and ready to fall for anybody. Ready to flirt with anybody. I had even finalized one in my then company and nick named her 'Tum' and needless to say I was 'Hum'.

That was a time when I was totally unaware of whats going to come in next 4 years :)

Hum Tum takes me into a different plane :). East Street, Camp, MG Road, my old bike and the flat along with Inox movies every weekend :). Pune was great those days.

Relating movies to some time period in your life and then recalling those times when you watch those movies is just great.

Return of the Sunny days

The world seemed different to him right from he waked in the morning. The sadness and the empty feeling he was used to for ages was gone. As he went along his morning chores he kept on getting better and better. When he reached his bay in the morning he was humming the songs. Rock on was a mood booster for him.

He was in whites and blue jeans. Muzik kept barking in his years, he was close to what he always wanted to be. He just wished with time he gets better and better. He believed that time of under achievement was finally gone. What beckoned ahead was great times with fire in the belly and ambitions that had ceased, fizzed out.

What made his day even glorious was he was going to gift small token of friendship to his latest addition on his eternal friend list. Friend for life and of life. He had few friends but all for life. He was enjoying this. Beyond words. That just made him feel even great and under the glorious sun. The day never meant better for him than this....Touchwood...

Will you have a coffee with me ?

He : "Will you want to have a coffee with me".

She :"I havent seen you. How do i have coffee with u"

He :"Get up from your seat and look for a red t-shirt bloke with head phones on".

She::" Everybody in your bay is red t-shirt with head phones. Which one are you?"

Me :"Come down to the printer seat. Thats me."

They both went to have their first coffee and thus was formed a deep bond of friendship. Friendship cos he wanted to pop her the question but the girl was too smart to answer "I already have a boy friend". Irony was that the girl later broke up with her boy friend and the boy could never find a girl friend. But they were just friends.
