I got famous: tweetin @ tweetup, 7/2

Well how many days it happen you get up in the morning dozed off and tensed and then suddenly it strikes you that oh boy you are gonna be in today's newspapers. No matter even if its a tabloid. But a pic in a tabloid that too on a second page is super cool and uber nice. Well here is the link below and I find myself happy. Yaar apna photo aaya he akhbar me. So what was the ocaasion ? It was a Tweetup. That is twitting people meet and discuss. Discuss what ? Discuss anything. How Twitter can bring about a change in social situations, media and social awareness. For example there was a session on how twitting can improve Pune traffic situation. The speaker suggested we tweet and create a kind of map and wiki about problem areas in Pune over traffic. Point is somebody gotta make it possible with active participation and spread it all over.

Other session was by nkabra (pune tech his site and thats his twitter handle). He spoke about how good tweeter can be to keep in touch with your old friends. Well may be, orkut is better for that. But he suggested that he got in touch with one friend of his in 10 yrs. Whopping long time that.

There was a tweeter from Chennai who came specially for this. He has started idea of tweet meets in Chennai and suggested that for Pune too. He was the last one to speak. I owe this attending tweetup to Bhavya who has penchant for organizing things like this. It was great to meet her and she became first blogger i met whom i read :)

It was largest tweeters meet in India and it felt happy to be a part of it. Looking forward to attend few more like this. Only glitch that i found here was that the place was too small for 60 tweeters to have a discussion as music kept playing loud (shut in middle), but overall it was a very nice experience for me . And dont i sound positive.

I was negative all the way during Mumbai blogcamp and wrote even a fiery post. May be they didnt post my photu so i was angry. And the twitter guys pushed my photu, so i m positive. LMAO.

and yes i met Meetu of WOGMA. She was in blogcamp too and she hates barcamp as its too techie. She recognized me from my twitter handle. She knew that i had wrote a fiery post on Ideasmithy on my blog when she twitted on Barrack Obama. And it was quite a flamed up war. hehe and then i faked up ignorance. I pretended not to be that SAM from blogcamp, but some other SAM.

Dont take ur life seriousji. Chill pao. i gotta be faking this cos i face an acid test tomorrow in office, thanks to escalations in the screwed up project. But there is one bottom line. Life moves on wat may happen, so this is just a bloody project. Max 51 days and then I am back to my IBU n happier times :)
