Jai Ho Rehman, a resto bar, pandora IT box and a barcamp!!

It was Satyam before and now its Wipro Tech accused of malpractises by World Bank...Whats wrong with IT cos ? Pandora box opened ? 

Meanwhile SlumDog Millionare won 6 Golden Globe awards in LA with A R Rehman winning the award for his music....Jai Ho!!!!!!! Slumdog translates to curious Hindi translation "Jhopdi ka karodpati kutta"...Movie releases on 23rd Jan 2009 in India and should be a good and curious watch.... AR  deserves the accolades, he is simply the best in the country beginning with Roja in 1992..He has had wonderful 2008 with hits like Yuvraaj, Slum dog, Ghajini and Jane tu.....Jai HO guru!!!

I have a plan, in fact a very exciting plan which i had formed long back to be implemented in my mid-age days....

A plan to open an open air beach restaurant......In partnership with M, my  former friend of 5 years.  But now she is gone after i fell out with her owing to Satyam fraudisco!! 

A restaurant with following facilities : 

• Wifi with free access to patrons, quite often sitting in the lounge bar or even the swimming pool :)
• 24*365 hard drinks with the best in the business brands and bar tenders. Of course I would be one of them, as I envy the bar tenders. Some point of time later, i for sure, would be a bar tender in one of the slush and posche resto-bars.
• Cuisines from all over especially Italian, Thai, Mexican, Indori, Punjabi,  Continental, no chinese and of course Middle East!! That would for sure invite the dambis to my restau!!
• A sports bar with live telecast of Formula 1, EPL, IPL, UEFA, Spanish Premier League, Cricket and of course  the Grand Slams from archives when Steffi, Becker, Sampras ruled the world......
• Free access to the bloggers who read my blog and blogs of my friends :)
• Playing host to barcamps or idea camps for bloggers with no commission or charges...Just wud vie for some advertisements so that i market my resto-bar aggressively......
• I am not much good into interiors. So may be somebody needs to assist me in here :)

It would be a live IDEA and would update as and when I get the ideas :) The venue and the place is not decided. May be in Indore (no open beaches) or Pune (hahahaha, no open space :)) or Manhattan :) (Wow, a long hop)

Its a very good experience to be there and meet fellow bloggers, some of whom are techno wizs, some are geeks, some are specifically into blogging as their livelihood (ex Indiblogger), some are shamelessly marketing their brands (no matter if its related to blogs) and the most irritating ones are the so called social activists or socialites as they are called. They really hog the stage and the limelight.  Worse breeds of bloggers.....I know a few of them....

Had attended a barcamp in Symbi, Pune in June 2007.  2 of so called socially active bloggers spoiled the show and the sponsors too :).

I just hope this one doesnt go that way.......
