IPL owners

The IPL and the elections are the buzzword in the country right now. There was an ego clash between this 2 iconic events and organizers of the elections scored a victory over the organizers of the IPL when the later was shifted out of the country to the Saffers land. For a start that is South Africa, the rainbow nation. Not to mention that I m caught up with the fever of the IPL and elections too. Post work, its IPL and elections watch on TV.

Not many readers here know that I have a cricket blog too and its going bonkers right now. 400 hits in a single day for 6 days running is amazing. It crossed 10000 hits today. 6000 in last 2 months and 2000 in last 10 days. Whoa!!!! Just a mention of the fake IPL blogger and my analysis on working out who he is from the Kolkata Knight Riders(Dark or Devils) has got me huge hits. Its right on top of Google search for “FAKE IPL PLAYER”. It’s mighty good. I m lovin it. McDie punch line. I would post the link for my super hit post here. The projections for the day stand at:

IPL is a franchisee based concept. 8 teams, 8 franchisees and 8 owners. Shahrukh Khan owns the Kolkata Knight Riders, Preity Zinta owns Kings XI Punjab and Shilpa Shetty owns Rajasthan Royals in some percentage. I would focus on SRK, PZ and SS. I am a fan of the first 2 of the list. Fan of 17 yrs for SRK. More than half my age. But I don’t like his businessman avatar he has unveiled in IPL. Let me get down to the individual ones:

SRK

A wonderful actor and a self proclaimed super star, has got his aura. I am in awe of his acting. But he is a fart owner of the franchisee. Has messed up with the game and in process he has humiliated the greatest skipper of the country in the game –Omar DADA. I am sure his movies would be boycotted in Kolkata where DADA is GOD. 4 captains theory by the coach John Buchanan (Bhookha Nan in the fake ipl blog) was ridiculous and was aimed to oust Sourav from the captaincy. He also took fights with Sunil Gavaskar, the batting legend who got Indian cricket on the world map. No wonder SRK’s idiotic ways have landed KKR into trouble and this reflects in the standings in the IPL. Yeah right at the bottom. SRK, please disown the franchisee, apologize with DADA and get off the IPL business. He has demotivated his team. The IPL fake blogger has most of the spite comments for Vinnie Dildo (the SRK). For him in the interviews cricket is all being about hugs and kisses, hot and cold, fan following. Damn, the game is more than this factors. We don’t need Bollywood crappers hogging limelight in the game where the ball and the bat must take the predominance.

Preity Zinta

She is the co-owner of KXIP. There are lot of jokes going around about her hugs whenever KXIP would win a game last season. More so with Bret Lee and Yuvraj Singh. Some jokes even suggest that Sreesanth wanted a bear hug from Zinta babes when he was slapped tight by Bhajji. But Zinta avoided and that’s why Sreesanth cried. May be. I don’t bother. She has been a huge cheer leader for her team who has danced for her team claiming that it would motivate the team in the ads, videos and the live games (after every four or six). Thank god, she has not made a total s of herself as she has a Nuss Wadia to take care of things cricketing. She doesn’t have necessary cricketing knowledge and hence she is not expected to provide tactical inputs to coach Tom Moody and skipper Yuvraj Singh. So hugs and jumping out loud is good for her to do. Now she has put some money in the game with an intention of making profits. So no 2 doubts on it. But is she being graceful in it? Partly yes. Look at Mondire Bedi. She just irritates. Not only she is a bore distraction who just steals the focus, but she gets to your nerves. Why do you want to hug a player on the field who is going to bat or preparing to bowl ? For them is everything just about kisses and hugs? And now suddenly you see the intrusion of the so called socialites, fashion designers, social media activists(whatever that means) in the game. Excuse me. The game is better off without this crap army of wannabe limelight hoggers.

Shilpa Shetty

Biggest disgrace and let down. She just keeps laughing idiotically when she wants to say anything. An useless actress with notable performances in “Phir Milenge” and “Life in a Metro” in 17 yr old career and of course Big Brother victory, thanks to the false sympathy she evoked out of being a victim and the crappy news channels in India which posed her as victim and flashed her crocodile tears on the prime time shows. She claims she is motivator to her team. ROTFL. Its gotta be Warn or Smithie or Pathan senior, not she, a dumb lady with no knowledge or value addition.

Other stuff

I cringe whenever I see the likes of Shetty babe, Mondire and Bollywood crappers(Set Max anchors) say a word or 2 about the game. Firstly they would begin with waves and then flyin kisses. Excuse me guys, cant you keep this mannerisms off the game and reserve them for your in house concerts and Page 3 / 4/ 10 parties? Spare sports page of this antics and fake mannerisms. Social media activists are having fun on expense of IPL by discussing the games. But whats the discussions all about:

Who was most hot cricketer yesterday?

Whom would you first take to the bed the night the cricketer makes big in the IPL?

Whom would you hug or pass on a kiss first (I mean the cricketer) ?

And stuff like that. Cricket is a game that this nation follows like a religion. And its better off without the dirt and crap from tinsel town. We don’t like it to be maligned with idiocracies and somebody who just for cheap moments of fame does a Mondire Bedi or a Shilpa Shetty act.
